Author George R.R. Martin recently praised the additions made in season 2 of “House of the Dragon”, a Game of Thrones prequel series. Martin particularly applauded the character Cheese's (Mark Stobbart) abused companion and the adaptation of Queen Helaena Targaryen played by Phia Saban, expressing appreciation for the depth and complexity they brought to the show, which weren't present in the original source material Fire & Blood.
