Georgia Governor Brian Kemp Visits South Korea on Economic Development Trip

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp embarked on his sixth overseas trip to South Korea to engage with officials from Hyundai Motor Group and other South Korean businesses in a 10-day economic development visit. The delegation, including lawmakers and state economic recruiters, will not meet with political or cultural leaders but will host a reception in conjunction with Hyundai. Meetings are scheduled with LG Group, SK Group, Hanwha Qcells, and CJ Foodville to strengthen international business partnerships. The cost of the trip to taxpayers is undisclosed, as Kemp continues his international engagements following previous visits to Germany, Israel, Georgia, France, and the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
