A survey conducted by the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) highlights that over 80% of German firms in manufacturing and IT anticipate negative economic impacts from U.S. tariffs. Notably, 20% of the 800 surveyed companies foresee 'very negative' repercussions, with 46% expecting adverse effects on their business and 64% concerned for the entire sector. This sentiment is echoed among companies with and without U.S. exports.
