Ralf Klausnitzer, a German national in his 50s, has been missing since March 26th after visiting Taroko National Park, with authorities determining that he was last in Tianxiang area before a recent strong earthquake. Klausnitzer's son arrived in Taroko hoping for his father's return and had his DNA taken for records. Klausnitzer, a professor with blonde hair and glasses, was last seen at Tianxiang Station after reaching the area by bus from Hualien on March 26th. His son, who visited Hualien, went to the police station for DNA collection and prayed in Taroko before leaving later that day.
