The San Francisco Giants have brought back pitcher Drew Pomeranz, signing the 35-year-old to a major league contract and adding him to their bullpen. In corresponding moves, pitcher Mason Black was sent to Triple-A, and catcher Jakson Reetz was designated for assignment. Pomeranz, who had a successful stint in the Giants' bullpen in 2019 before being traded to the Milwaukee Brewers, returns after a series of injury setbacks that kept him out of the big leagues since 2021. This move provides the Giants with another left-handed option in the bullpen alongside Taylor Rogers and Erik Miller.
