Gigabyte's June Revenue Hits Second Highest, Exceeds 1.5 Billion for Two Consecutive Months

Benefiting from continuous growth in overseas markets such as Southeast Asia and Europe, leading gaming stock Gigabyte achieved a record high revenue of 1.554 billion in June, marking the second highest in history. The company's monthly revenue has exceeded 1.5 billion for two consecutive months, serving as a significant milestone. Gigabyte's June revenue slightly dropped by 1.1% compared to May, reaching 15.72 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 32.9%. As June had 30 operating days, it could have set a new revenue record. Gigabyte's second-quarter revenue reached 45.75 billion, growing by 9.52% from the previous quarter and 31.54% from the same period last year, setting a new quarterly revenue record. The accumulated revenue from January to June was 87.52 billion, with a yearly growth rate of 28.66%. At a recent shareholder meeting, Chairman Lee Kezhu stated that Gigabyte's growth momentum in 2024 comes from overseas licensing, with the strongest growth in Southeast Asia, followed by Europe. The company expects better performance in 2024 compared to 2023. Gigabyte recently announced a pre-tax earnings per share of 30.39 for the period from January to May. The company's current revenue is primarily from overseas licensing at 53%, followed by online games at 37%, and commercial machines at about 10%. The majority of overseas licensed products are related to gaming, including slot machines and fishing games. Southeast Asia contributes the highest share of revenue in the overseas market, reaching 38%. The European market is showing promising development this year, and revenue is expected to be fully recognized.
