For the first time globally, the Forestry Bureau reveals the complete behavior of the hundred-pacer snake in the wild, from nesting, hatching eggs, protecting the young, to their leaving the nest, captured over more than two months in day and night recordings. The bureau used advanced technology like infrared automatic cameras, time-lapse cameras, night vision goggles, and recording cameras to successfully document the hatching of 20 snake eggs and the safe departure of all the young snakes. This observation fills in important gaps in the reproduction data of the hundred-pacer snake, making it a valuable contribution to understanding the species' reproductive ecology.
