Taiwan's Good Day Foods imported a batch of curry powder from Malaysia which was found to have excessive pesticide residues, leading to over 1,000 kilograms of the product being sent back or destroyed. Additionally, chopsticks imported from China by Shengyang Logistics Co., Ltd under the brand DAISO failed quality tests with possible release of impurities during normal use, resulting in 66 kilograms being returned. The Food and Drug Administration announced 17 border goods with quality issues, including curry powder from Malaysia, chili powder from Korea, and more, due to pesticides and preservatives exceeding standards.
