GM CFO Paul Jacobson stated that if U.S. tariffs were to become permanent, the company might have to reevaluate plant locations. He noted that while no decisions have been made yet, GM is monitoring the impact of tariffs on business and has already begun moving inventory across borders in preparation. This comes after President Trump's announcement of a 25% tariff on automobiles starting in April.
