GM Sees Sales Decline in Q3 but Sets EV Sales Record

General Motors reported a 2% decline in overall vehicle sales for the third quarter compared to the previous year, delivering 659,601 vehicles. However, retail sales increased by 3%, and GM achieved a record in electric vehicle sales, with 32,195 EVs sold, marking a 60% increase year-over-year. The company maintained its lead in pickup and full-sized SUV sales, while its US EV market share grew to 9.5%, with more than half of EV customers being new to GM.
