Taipei - On June 10, 2024, at 4:10 PM, Godson Technology (stock code 3558) showcased its first 2U/2S dual-processor rack server SR710 equipped with the new generation XeonR 6 processor from Intel at COMPUTEX 2024, indicating its entry into the server market. The chairman of Godson, Cai Wenhe, stated that by 2025, the company's Computing products, mainly servers, will account for 50% of the company's operations, showing great optimism for the future of the server sector. With a focus on network equipment and solutions, Godson expanded into the server product line after introducing the first SmartNIC designed with Intel XeonR D processors. The SR710 rack server is designed based on the Open Compute Project's Modular Hardware System (DC-MHS) architecture, featuring the new XeonR 6 processors. Cai mentioned that the company has invested about 6 to 7 years into server planning and R&D until now, with plans for Computing products to constitute 50% of the business by the end of 2025.
