Starring Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and Hollywood veteran Amy Irving, the movie tells the story of a girl in a small town in China facing discrimination due to her reading disorder. Her mother, played by Irving, decides to move to New York for her daughter's education, dealing with the challenges of a new country and societal judgments. Alongside 'Confetti', Taiwanese short film 'On The Way Home' will also be screened, depicting a father under pressure on his way to his son's birthday party. Additionally, Japanese actress Akira Akiko stars in the film 'Intimate Stranger', described as her triumphant return to the big screen after the pandemic, where she portrays a single mother searching for her missing son amid shocking revelations.
