Huang Fei, the Taiwanese singer dubbed as the queen of Hokkien pop, is vying for her third win in the Best Taiwanese Female Singer category at the Golden Melody Awards with her album 'Eighteen Martial Arts'. Nominated for the 12th time, Huang Fei showcased a new short hairdo and wore a custom-made black dress worth $250,000 for the red carpet, along with jewelry valued at $380,000. Despite losing 2 kilograms to fit into the outfit, Huang Fei exuded a regal aura and emphasised the significance of attending the event with her mentor Chen Ming Zhang, marking their first red carpet appearance together in 22 years.
