Goldman Sachs has appointed Marko Ratesic as vice chairman of its consumer retail group, as revealed in a memo on Monday. Ratesic, who has been with the firm since 2006, aims to enhance client services following the bank's involvement in major retail transactions, including the recent acquisition of Kellanova by Mars and Dick's Sporting Goods' purchase of Foot Locker. He will maintain his role with significant clients and financial sponsors while continuing to lead within investment banking.
