Exclusive report: The Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival of the 2024 New Taipei City Riverside Music Season will be held magnificently from July 19 to July 21 at Fulong Beach. The festival, now in its 21st year, focuses on original independent music, local tourism, international music exchange, free music enjoyment, and nurturing future talent. Over 200 bands have signed up for the Ocean Independent Music Awards this year, with 10 finalists competing for the top honor. The event will also feature a market, summer-themed installations, and immersive Viking-style booths, providing a multisensory experience for attendees. Additionally, visitors can enjoy sand sculpture art and a LINE FRIENDS-themed exhibition on site until October 13. Attendees are invited to support their favorite bands, indulge in original music, and savor delicious food at the festival, which offers free entry for all three days.
