After 26 years in the community, the well-known KTV chain Holiday KTV in the Wenshan District's Mucha area will be closing its doors at the end of June due to the lease expiration. Locals are nostalgic, recalling their 'youthful nights of singing' from over two decades ago, expressing gratitude for the memories and expressing sadness over the closure. Being in Taiwan for nearly 30 years, Holiday KTV faced competition from the major KTV leader Cashbox for many years. Their closure adds to the impact of the pandemic on businesses, following the other recent closures. Fans flooded the Taipei Mucha store's Facebook page with sentiments and farewells, lamenting the end of an era and their precious memories associated with the KTV.
