In the recent updates released for Pixel devices, Google has finally introduced the Gemini Nano artificial intelligence model, originally only available in the Pixel 8 Pro, to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a. Additionally, DisplayPort display output support has been added to the Pixel 8 series, and the 'Find My Device' feature has been upgraded to allow location tracking up to 23 hours after the device is shut down or the battery is depleted. Various updates have been made, including features like quick search for unknown phone numbers on Pixel 6, improved camera functions on Pixel 6 when using HDR+ mode, and the ability to manually select different camera lenses on the Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Fold. The Pixel Watch 2 update includes a standalone car crash detection feature where the watch will start a countdown if a potential crash is detected. Users in Taiwan can also utilize this function. Furthermore, the Pixel Watch series can now control smart home devices via the Google Home App and payment integration with PayPal is added to Google Wallet updates. Other improvements allow Pixel Tablets to directly link with Nest Doorbell when used with a base. Various updates and features aim to enhance user experience across Google devices.
