Government not giving up on pushing for constitutional interpretation despite parliament's rejection: Expresses sorrow and regret

The Presidential Office and the DPP caucus in the Legislative Yuan expressed their intention to request a constitutional interpretation following this outcome. The Executive Yuan and the majority of the public expressed sorrow and regret over the rejection, stating that they will seek constitutional relief measures after the law takes effect. The Executive Yuan emphasized that the review was a key to initiate further parliamentary discussions, and they will continue to work as solid allies and supports for the people in the future.
