In Mexico, a naval military academy student tragically died during a graduation ceremony parachuting exercise when his parachute failed to open, causing him to fatally crash to the ground at high speed. The Mexican Navy confirmed the news and expressed deepest condolences to the family. The incident occurred in Campeche state at the Heroica Naval Military School, where 20-year-old student Emmanuel Velázquez Escobar fell to his death while all other students' parachutes opened successfully.
