In Taichung's Dali District on May 29, a dramatic rescue took place as a 9-year-old girl at home suffered a suspected heart attack, turning black and gasping for breath. Her grandfather, surnamed Peng, rushed to take her to the hospital, but encountered heavy traffic. Luckily, a police patrol car from the Wufeng Substation was passing by, and after Peng sought help, the police drove 2.2 kilometers to clear the way and successfully rescued the girl. After surgery, she recovered and Peng personally thanked the police officers, emphasizing the importance of public service and cooperation with law enforcement during emergencies.
