An 80-year-old grandma in Yunlin accidentally threw away her mattress containing over 30,000 yuan of hard-earned savings, forgetting about the hidden money when family members bought a new mattress. Distraught upon realizing the loss, police were contacted, and with the help of a cleaning team, the money was successfully found in the garbage dump. The grandma was deeply moved by the kind gesture, and the police officer involved declined a reward, stating it was just part of their duty to see her happy.
