A grandmother in Thailand mistakenly picked wild mushrooms similar to oyster mushrooms to cook for her granddaughter, resulting in the entire family of five getting food poisoning. After experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, chest discomfort, and difficulty breathing, they were rushed to the hospital and found to have consumed poisonous mushrooms instead. Although they recovered after treatment and a two-day observation in the hospital, it highlights the importance of being cautious when foraging for mushrooms in the wild to avoid such incidents.
