The review of the parliamentary reform related laws proposed by the Executive Yuan was voted on and ultimately rejected in the Legislative Yuan on June 21, with the Blue and White camp prevailing over the Green camp by 62:51. During the voting, Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu participated and was criticized by the Democratic Progressive Party for lack of neutrality. However, Kuomintang lawmaker Yeh Yun-chih praised Han for his neutrality and respect for the DPP and shared an incident from the voting day regarding misinterpretation of the ballot design, emphasizing Han's respect for DPP opinions and neutrality in presiding over proceedings.
