During a press conference held by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) caucus for a constitutional interpretation case, Kuomintang (KMT) legislator Hsiao Chiao-hsin showed support for a colleague by standing at the scene and taunting members of the Green Party caucus for not daring to enter the main entrance, implying guilt. This led to a confrontation between the two sides. The situation was eventually resolved through coordination between the DPP and KMT caucus secretaries. The press conference also discussed issues related to NCC personnel appointments and alleged surveillance of Taiwan by Chinese state media.
