According to reports, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has organized over 100 anti-authoritarianism lectures in opposition to the parliamentary empowerment bill, with Secretary-General Lin Youchang stating at the Central Executive Committee meeting that they will continue these events. Lin emphasized three main focuses: countering attempts to restore a one-party state, fighting against corruption, and uniting Taiwan to confront Chinese suppression. The DPP aims to address these issues in the ongoing lectures, alongside recent developments like China's introduction of 22 measures to punish pro-Taiwan independence activities.
