Guangdong province in mainland China has been hit by heavy rainfall recently, causing its second-longest river, the Han River, to rise to warning levels on the evening of the 16th, marking the 4th flood of the year. The water resources department of China has initiated emergency responses to defend against floods, evacuating and relocating 11,000 residents residing in low-lying areas.
