FTNN News Network on July 7, 2024, at 9:36 PM [FTNN News Network] Social Affairs Center/Comprehensive Report Lin Shijie, the father of Democratic Progressive Party Tainan City Councilor Lin Yiting and director of Tainan City Fishermen's Association, was shot at around 5:40 am at his residence, sustaining at least 3 gunshot wounds to the face, neck, and chest which proved fatal despite 30 minutes of emergency treatment. Investigators found at least 9 bullet casings at the scene and suspect the gunman's detailed planning and premeditation in the attack.
