An auto repair shop in Dashu District, Kaohsiung City was shot at by unknown individuals on June 14, 2024, leaving bullet holes on the iron gate and 20 shell casings on the ground, with no injuries reported. Following a car chase, police arrested the car owner surnamed Cai and an accomplice surnamed Pan in Chiayi and Pingtung respectively. Cai has been interrogated and will be further investigated by Kaohsiung prosecutors, while Pan will be transferred for violating gun and ammunition control regulations. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend all perpetrators involved in the shooting incident.
