Economic Minister Guo Zhihui, a prominent figure in the cabinet, is leading a delegation of business leaders to visit the U.S. today. He will participate in the 'SelectUSA Investment Summit' organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce, engage with important American companies and associations to convey the new government's governance philosophy, understand concerns and needs of the industry, deepen Taiwan-U.S. economic and trade relations, and also encourage American businesses to invest in Taiwan to promote partnerships in the supply chain between Taiwan and the U.S. The delegation covers various industries including semiconductors, chemicals, ICT, biotech, machinery, aerospace, and financial services.
