Guyana's Natural Resources ministry has launched a dispute resolution with Exxon Mobil regarding the recovery of $214 million in expenses for operations in the Stabroek offshore block. The ministry’s request follows an audit by IHS Markit confirming the need for expense adjustments, and the Guyana Revenue Authority has supported this recommendation. Exxon's consortium has already recovered a significant portion of its expenditures, while another audit covering expenses from 2018 to 2020 is currently in progress.
