Popular internet personality Guan-Chang's gym in North District, Taichung was rammed by a small truck on the evening of June 12, causing severe damage to the doors and windows. The driver, a 31-year-old man surnamed Lin, admitted to the police that he carried out the act in retaliation for being rejected when he applied to be a fitness trainer at the gym. This incident is not the first controversy surrounding Guan-Chang's gym, with previous reports of threats and disturbances during its preparation. Lin, the driver, was taken into custody for investigation, stating that his frustration from job rejections led him to ram the gym's entrance with the rented truck.
