Half of Kidney Disease Patients Have Diabetes! Doctor Warns Against Phosphorus-Containing Beverages and Infamous Poisonous Drink

Drinking too many sugary beverages can lead to diabetes. Due to the recent hot weather in Taiwan, many people are consuming sugary drinks to quench their thirst. However, excessive consumption can lead to diabetes. A doctor from Taipei City's Tzu Chi Hospital warns that out of over 80,000 kidney disease patients in Taiwan, almost half are diabetes-related. It is recommended to drink at least 1500cc of water daily, avoid sugary and phosphorus-containing beverages, and undergo regular medical check-ups to prevent diabetes and kidney diseases.
