During the voting on the Executive Yuan's 'Five Reform Laws of the Parliament' reconsideration motion today at the Legislative Yuan, Speaker Han Kuo-yu personally voted, receiving praise from the blue camp but criticism from the green camp for compromising neutrality. However, public records show that during 6 reconsideration motions since 2002, former Speaker Wang Jin-ping participated in each vote. The voting on the current reconsideration showed 'opposition to the reconsideration motion'. Speaker Han Kuo-yu was not the first speaker to vote on a reconsideration motion, as during Wang Jin-ping's tenure, he voted on 6 reconsideration motions.
