FTNN News 13th June 2024, 12:34 PM [FTNN News] Reporter Feng Yin/Taipei reported that on June 15th, Police Day, the National Police Agency held the '113th Police Day Celebration Conference', attended by President Lai Ching-te and Premier Cho Rong-tai. They inspected the achievements in combating fraud and presented honorary medals to 28 exemplary police officers nationwide. Lai Ching-te expressed three expectations in his speech, emphasizing zero tolerance for scams, crackdown on criminal gangs, and active anti-drug efforts to bring a more secure life to the people by continuing to combat crime. President Lai Ching-te also mentioned government support in terms of budget, policies, and legal support for the police force, including increased personnel and improved benefits to enhance professional skills and working environments for police officers.
