Hatch Baby is recalling nearly 1 million power adapters sold with sound machines marketed to help infants and young children sleep because the plastic surrounding the AC power adapter can come off, posing a risk of electric shock. The recall is specific to power adapters supplied by Jiangsu Chenyang Electron Co., with 19 reports of the plastic housing coming off and two instances of consumers experiencing a minor electric shock. Hatch is offering free replacement adapters and urging consumers to stop using the faulty ones.
