Health Bureau Takes Action on Clinic with Expensive Stroke Prevention Treatment of 230,000 NT Dollars and Unknown Injectable Ingredients

Reported 12 months ago

The Health Bureau visited the Liu-Shun Clinic in Tainan City after a weekly magazine reported that the clinic's stroke prevention treatment lacked proper labeling and information, with the employees being unaware of the contents. The clinic was found to have violated three regulations, including using a product labeled as a food but containing ginseng ingredients, improper area usage for medical activities, failure to issue receipts for self-paid items, and incomplete drug records in medical files. The clinic rebutted the claims, stating that all treatments were legal and had undergone strict approval processes, such as using ginseng products in oral form, not injectables.
