Reported 12 months ago

Taiwan's Health Minister, Chen Shih-chung, announced plans to gradually raise the value of National Health Insurance fee points to around 0.92-0.93 from the current 0.9, in response to demands from the medical sector. The adjustment process will involve reforms in healthcare policies and budget allocations, aiming to enhance medical resources without imposing additional burdens on the public. Proposed amendments by legislators seek to raise the fee points to the maximum cap of 1.1. The Ministry of Health has started deliberating on funding sources and anticipates an increase of over 133 billion NTD by reallocating certain expenses and enhancing budget management.
