On June 14, 2024, Jerry Yan made a low-key appearance at Kwan's mother's wake. The wake for Kwan's mother, who recently passed away at the age of 93 due to pneumonia, is in its final phase. Notable figures like artist manager Chen Jiaying and members of Energy like Niu Nai and Jerry Yan were present to pay their respects. Niu Nai advised Kwan to take care of her health and Jerry Yan briefly showed his concern with a gestured thumbs-up before leaving. Many other celebrities have also attended the memorial service to mourn Kwan's mother.
