The Central Weather Bureau issued high-temperature alerts for these areas, with New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, and Hualien County under a yellow warning, while Taipei City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County under an orange warning, with a possibility of reaching 36 degrees. It is advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, labor, and exercise, while also practicing sun protection, staying hydrated, and preventing heat-related injuries. Proper ventilation, cooling methods for the body or environment, and special care for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and outdoor workers are recommended to cope with the high temperatures.
