According to Central Weather Bureau, a heavy rain advisory has been issued with a probability of localized heavy rain or downpour in Nantou County today due to vigorous convective cloud development, while areas north of Hsinchu and Miaoli, central, northeast, and eastern mountain regions are warned of possible localized heavy rain. Pay attention to thunder and strong gusts, and be cautious of landslides, rockfalls, and flash floods in mountainous areas.
