The affected areas include Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Yilan County, and Hualien County. The weather bureau also mentioned the increasing southwest wind bringing moisture to the island, leading to scattered brief showers and thunderstorms in the central and southern regions, with the possibility of heavy rain. The bureau advised caution in mountainous regions and by rivers due to recent soil softening. Temperatures range from 24 to 26 degrees Celsius at night and morning, with highs of 29 to 32 degrees during the day. Air quality varies across regions, with some areas experiencing haziness and pollution accumulation.
