According to the latest news from Yahoo, the Central Weather Bureau has issued special rainfall warnings for areas with intense thunderstorms leading to possible short-duration heavy rainfall. Mountainous areas in Taichung City and Nantou County have already experienced heavy rain, and there is a probability of localized heavy rain tonight in Nantou region, as well as Miaoli and mountainous areas of Taichung. People are advised to be cautious of lightning, strong gusts of wind, landslides, falling rocks, and flash flooding in mountainous areas. The areas under heavy rain alerts include Miaoli County, Taichung City, and Nantou County.
