South Korea is experiencing heavy rainfall and strong winds as the monsoon front sweeps through the country, causing flooding in various regions, power outages in thousands of homes, and the cancellation of 18 flights at Jeju International Airport. The adverse weather conditions have also led to delays and cancellations at other airports in the region, prompting officials to advise travelers to check for the latest flight updates. The South Korean Meteorological Administration has issued heavy rain warnings for parts of Jeju Island, with rainfall expected to reach up to 110 millimeters in 12 hours. The monsoon front has also caused damage and incidents in Seoul, Incheon, and Busan, including collapsed walls, flooded roads and homes, and power outages in several areas.
