Due to heavy rain this afternoon in Longgang, Zhongli, Taoyuan, at 16:46, a high-voltage line was disconnected, resulting in 2942 households experiencing a power outage. Taipower restored power to 1973 households immediately and all were back online as of 18:25 after rapid repairs. Areas affected included sections of Huanzhong East Road, Longci Road, Longzhi Road, Longling Road, Longyong Road, Longgang Road, Longgang Road Section 2, Longji Road, Xingyuan Road, Swimming Road, and more in Zhongli and Pingzhen districts. Taipower apologized for the inconvenience caused.
