On June 21, 2024, the proposed parliamentary reform resolution was voted against at the Legislative Yuan. Civil groups organized the Blue Bird movement for the third day in a row with a canopy set up in front of the stage at the Legislative Yuan, claiming 2,000 people were in attendance, but actually, there were only a few hundred. Despite the rain and limited turnout, the event concluded at 1 pm with support from the Kuomintang party and statements from party officials. The Blue Bird movement at Jinan Road saw only a few hundred participants, a stark contrast to previous days.
