According to Yahoo News, as of 7:26 am on June 25, 2024, the Central Weather Bureau has continued to issue heavy rainstorm alerts due to strong development of convective cloud systems, leading to short-duration heavy rainfall. Changhua County has already experienced heavy rain, with localized heavy rain or downpours expected in the mountainous areas of Miaoli County and Taichung City today. Thunderstorms and strong gusts are expected, with caution advised in mountainous areas for landslide and falling rocks, and in low-lying areas for possible flooding. Miaoli County and Taichung City are under heavy rainstorm alerts, while heavy rain alerts are in effect for Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, and Kaohsiung City.
