These QIS tools, which enable quick and convenient exposure to popular systematic trades, have seen a boom with total notional exposures reaching $552 billion in December. Despite concerns about rigid execution and potential limited adjustments, hedge funds are leveraging QIS for efficiency and access to new asset classes, even as competition and challenges persist.
