According to a Goldman Sachs report, hedge funds have reached a five-year peak in trading activities in Asia, with significant buying in equities across Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and India. This surge in bullish positions coincides with favorable developments in U.S.-China trade talks and a new pro-market president in South Korea, alongside a growing trend of de-dollarization benefiting Asian markets. The MSCI Asia-Pacific Index has risen 2.5% this month, contributing to a total increase of 24% since early April.
