Kaohsiung Mayor, Chen Qimai, responded ambiguously, mentioning policy evaluations, sparking anticipation for a potential new arena. Hong suggested that the two southern baseball teams, Taiwan Steel and Uni-President, could collaborate in managing the arena to increase game days and revenue to support operating costs, similar to examples overseas.
