Following the passing of the parliament expansion bill through the cooperation of the blue and white camps, questions arose regarding the legitimacy of the process, leading to calls for the recall of blue legislators, with Yeh Yu-chih being a frequent target. Former DPP legislator High Jia-yu believes that Yeh is only being used as a topic of speculation, while Hsu Chiao-hsin is more likely to face recall. High stated that the DPP currently lacks one seat in the legislature compared to the KMT, so successfully recalling one seat from the KMT would be an opportunity for the DPP. She analyzed that the most likely targets for recall would be those with high hostility and sufficient legitimacy, pointing out that despite Yeh being somewhat amusing, her hostility is not high, with Hsu having the highest hostility among the green camp, making her the most likely blue legislator to face recall.
